In January 19, 2002, the Men of Bethel sponsored the 100 Men in Black. The theme was "Where Do We Go From Here." The guest speaker was the Rev. Herman Holland, an associate minister of St. John Baptist Church, Pinewood, South Carolina.

January was also the month we held our Family and Friends Day. The program is sponsored annually by the Trustees. We had 132 in attendance for the beautiful spiritual filled program.

The month of February was highlighted with Black History and Old Fashion celebration. The pastor, along with the congregation, dressed in old fashioned clothes.

The "Big" Bethel A.M.E. Church family property located on East Calhoun and Greer Streets. God has richly blessed the "Big" Bethel Church family along with its dynamic leader, Rev. Galloway and his family.

On April 20, 2002, Tyreek Edward Jermaine Wilson was crowned Little Master Alpha Phi Alpha for 2002 for Morris College Headstart Center. Tyreek is active in the primary Sunday School Class and the R.E. Galloway Singers. He is four years old and will be attending Willow Drive Elementary School...
