Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. had been "On the Move" this past quarter. It began the year with very a spirited Watch night Service. Following the services, a delicious breakfast was served and the members and friends welcomed the New Years as they fellowshipped during breakfast.

February and March were the months of women's Day Activities. Saturday, February 9th, the United Methodist Episcopal Church choirs gave a pre-Women's Day Concert at Mt. Pisgah. They were Great! Sunday, February 24, the Voices of Deliverance of Charleston, SC presented their usual electrifying concert. Friday, March 15th, Mt. Pisgah Women hosted a salute to the men of the Sumter community with a beautiful banquet honoring ten men for their outstanding services to the community. The speaker was rev. Charles B. Jackson, Sr. of Brookland Baptist Church of Columbia, SC. Sunday, March 17th, Mt. Pisgah celebrated Women's Day. the speaker for the occasion was Mrs. Julia Wright from Cross, South Carolina. She gave the Mt. Pisgah Family a wonderful challenge of service. Sunday, March 24th, an enjoyable baby contest concluded the Women's Day activities.
