Agape Fellowship A.M.E.
Rev. Dwayne Bruce, Pastor
The Health Ministry of Agape continues to Provide regular health Screenings after Sunday Morning worship services. These screenings have benefited our members by providing personal data that has prompted further medical attention. The Health Ministry gave a spiritual and educational presentation on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
The WMS focused on teaching our youth, as well as, adults on how to develop a regular pattern of healthy eating, and physical examinations.
The YPD continue active roles in the second and forth Sunday Morning worship services. In the Easter Sunrise Service, the YPD'ers presented a play entitled "He's Alive."
Three of our youth were blessed to attend the SED YPD Retreat in White Oaks and two attended Discovery Place and Johnson C. Smith College sponsored by the WMS of the Sumter District. On the First Sunday in May, the youth Choir Celebrated its Anniversary By Presenting A Concert.
On Sunday, April 21, God did great things on our Family and Friends Day! Activities thought the day supported our theme "Receiving The Promises." We were blessed by a soul-stirring sermon by Rev. Dwayne Bruce. After, Brother Paul Thompson, Gospel Recording Artist, ushered us into the spirit of worship and praise as he ministered to us through song. The highlight of the evening was a dynamic message by Rev. Ronnie E. Brailsford, Sr. pastor of the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Columbia, South Carolina. Re. Brailsford's Message "Be Encouraged" lifted our hearts and faith to strive for God's Best. We thank God for blessing us spiritually and financially on this great day.
